2010 COUNTY ELECTION PETITIONS AVAILABLE
Candidate
petitions for the offices of County Mayor, County Commissioner, County
Trustee, Sheriff, Circuit Court Clerk, Register of Deeds, Commissioner
of Highways, and County Attorney may now be picked up. The
qualifying deadline for petitions to be filed for the above offices is
Noon, February 18, 2010. Petitions for United States House of
Represenatives, Governor, Tennessee House of Representatives,
Republican and Democrat State Executive Commttee, County Constable
(District 8, 9, 11) and County School Board (District 2,4,6) can
be picked up begining January 4, 2010 and must be filed by Noon, April
1, 2010. A list of all candidates who have been issued a petition
is updated daily and can be viewed by clicking here.
